| The Oceania Regional Senior Tennis Championships are the most prestigious Senior’s Tennis Event on the Oceania Calendar with ranking points second only to the World Seniors Championships. The tournament flyer is here OR17 flyer
It is open to senior players 35 years and over from ALL nations.
This event will again be hosted by Tennis Seniors Australia in 2017 for the 3rd year.
It will be held March from 9-13, 2017 (Victorian Labour Day weekend) at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, Melbourne (the major sponsor of the tournament)on their clay courts.
The tournament buffet dinner will be held at the Kooyong LTC on Sunday 12 March.
About the tournament
- Open to all senior players 35 years and over.
- This is an ITF Regional Championships 1 tournament.
- Singles, doubles and mixed IPIN events in all age categories.
- The tournament will start at noon on Thursday 9 March ONLY for men’s singles and ONLY where the draws exceed 16 entries and ONLY for these players who do NOT have a first round bye. For all other players the start will be from 8.00 am Friday 10 March.
- All Thursday matches and some Friday matches will be played at East Malvern TC, Hawthorn TC and Glen Iris Valley TC.
- Players are limited to enter a maximum of 3 events.
- Winners & finalists in all IPIN events will receive prize money.
- Winners of all IPIN events will each receive a medallion.
- Men’s, women’s and mixed social round robin doubles events.
