Violet Apisah (PNG) has won the WTA Future Stars Event-U16 last weekend in Singapore.
Coming through pool play undefeated she played Keyl Zhou(CHN) in the Semi-Final Elimination which she won 75,75 before defeating Shivai Amineni(IND) in the final 75,64.
Two other Pacific Oceania players competed in this event: Vienna Kumar (FIJI) in the U16s and Eleanor Schuster (SAM) in the U14s
