Violet Apisah has had an incredible week at the Australian U16 Junior Championships at Melbourne Park last week
Awarded a Wild Card in the singles, Violet justified her 7th seeding when she beat her doubles partner, Jeanette Lim, 6-2,6-2, 6-3 in the quarter finals before coming from behind to over power top seed Michaela Haet in the semi-finals 1-6, 6-4, 6-3. Then in the finals Violet beat 5th seed Alexandra Bozovic 6-1, 6-4 to claim the singles title. Full results here 2015 U16 Australian Singles Championships
