The WTA has just released their latest Singles Rankings today.
Steffie Carruthers (SAM) has made a huge impact from the 3 Tournaments she has played to date in accumulating 8 Points.
This now sees her move to a career high singles ranking of 1075=. She will retain these ranking points for a year, so every point she accumulates now will only further improve her ranking. Clearly the higher the ranking, the easier it will be for her to be a direct acceptance into draws coupled with the likelihood of being seeded.
Steffie is working hard on the mental side of her game with her coach, Carlos Casely and plays this week in Panama followed by next week in Venezuela
