Papua New Guinea are guaranteed a Gold and Silver medal in the Mixed Doubles following the semi-finals today. 5th seeds Matthew Stubbings/Violet Apisah (PNG) today easily beat the team of Julien Delaplane/Lindsey Nekiriai (CAL) 6-3, 6-2 and will pay their team members, 2nd seeds, Mark Gibbons/Abigail Tere-Apisah (PNG) in the GOLD/SILVER Medal Match Final. They were too strong in the other semi-final in beating the 3rd seeds, Guillaume Monot/Yaelle Honakoko (CAL) 6-3, 6-3.
