Pacific Oceania Junior Championship Finished last Week in Lautoka, Fiji

The Pacific Oceania Junior Championships were held in Lautoka, Fiji from the 10th-19th July. 29 Players competed in the U12 Event and 65 players in the U14 and U16 Events. In the U12 Event there were teams from:
Boys: Cook Islands, Fiji, Guam, Nauru, NMI, PNG, Samoa, Solomon Islands, French Polynesia, Vanuatu
Girls: American Samoa, Fiji, Guam, Nauru, NMI, PNG, Samoa, French Polynesia, Vanuatu

In the U14 and U16, there were players from:
American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, FSM, Guam, Nauru, NMI, Palau, PNG, Samoa, Solomon Islands, French Polynesia, Vanuatu

In attendance at the POJC were Dermot Sweeny (ITF Technical Director, Training Centres and Player Development) Gary Purcell (ITF Development Officer-Pacific Oceania) and Gille De Gouy. All 3 held Coaching Workshops during the POJC.
