The Pacific Oceania Davis Cup Team have been promoted to the World Group II Play Off is 2024 following their 2-1 win against Jordan on the Clay Court of the Sri Lankan Tennis Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In the opening singles, Clement Mainguy was beaten 7-6 (3), 6-4 by Mohammad Lkotop. Colin Sinclair then levelled the Tie 1-1 when he beat Zaid Shelbaya 6-1, 6-0. Then in the deciding doubles, Colin Sinclair/Matavao beat Karam Hatamleh/Mohammad Lkotop 6-2 6-7(5) 6-3. In the other Pool, Iran won their group and will today play Pacific Oceania to decide the 1-2 ranking. Also Jordan will play Malaysia and the winner of that Tie will also be promoted (3 teams will be promoted)
