The Pacific Oceania Fed Cup Team have received a reasonably favourable draw when play starts at 4:30pm tomorrow at the SAAP Tennis Complex at Hyderabad, India
The format is a round-robin with 3 pools of 3 teams (Pools B,C and D) and 1 pool of 2 teams (Pool A)
The winner of Pool A will play the winner of Pool C and the winner of Pool B will play the winner of Pool D in the 1st round of Play-Offs. The winners of those matches will play-off to determine which nation will be promoted to Asia/Oceania Zone Group I in 2016. Only 1 team will be promoted.
The respective Pools are with seeds in brackets:
Pool A: Philippines (1), Singapore
Pool B: Turkmenistan (2), Kyrgyzstan, Iran
Pool C: India(3), Malaysia, Pakistan
Pool D: Indonesia(4), Sri Lanka, Pacific Oceania
Tomorrow Pacific Oceania open the Fed Cup Event on Centre Court playing 4th seeds Indonesia with both their top 2 players ranked 884 and 885 respectively
