The Pacific Oceania Billie Jean King Cup Team have beaten Malaysia 2-1 to finish 2nd in their pool of 5 Nations. Patricia Apisah, playing her first singles match in the Billie Jean King Event, lost the opening #2 singles to her Malaysian opponent Sze Xuan Lim 6-2, 6-0 before Violet Apisah beat her opponent 6-2, 2-1 retired. In the deciding doubles Violet Apisah/Kalani Soli were decisively won the deciding doubles 6-2, 6-3.
