ITF to HOLD a National Tutor Development Course

The ITF Development Officer-Pacific Oceania, Gary Purcell, will be holding a National Tutor Development Course over the next month or so (date to be advised)to assist coaches to educate themselves and to train up to become National Play Tennis Tutors.
Candidates must have at least a Coaching Beginner and Intermediate (Level 1) coaching qualification to be eligible. Nations are invited to contact Gary Purcell at Gary.Purcell@itftennis.com with nominations of a maximum of 2 coaches/tutors from their Nation. The profile for likely candidates is:

  • Duration: 4 days (16 hours)
  • Assessment: Practical, written assessment throughout the course
  • Objective: To develop the competence of National certification course tutors
  • Tutor to candidate ratio: The ratio of 1:12 will be maintained
  • Delivered through: The ITF Academy (www.itf-academy.com)via MS Teams, Zoom or another virtual platform
  • Equipment requirements: Computer, tablet and stable internet connection
  • Resources: Course resources as applicable to the course
  • Certificates: Candidates will receive certificates of participation upon completion (minimum 80%) of this course
