Fiji Girls Into the Semi-Final Doubles of the Victorian Junior Claycourt International

Tarani Kamoe (FIJ) and Annie Shannon (FIJ) are into the Semi-Finals of the Victorian Junior Claycourt Doubles Championships which will be played at 12:30pm today local time at the Dendy Park Tennis Club, East Brighton, Melbourne.  Seeded 3rd, they came from a set down to beat the local pairing of Noelleda Ah San and Danielle McIntyre who were 6th seeds, 2-6, 6-0 (10-5).  Click here to view the Doubles Draw GD18 Victorian Junior Claycourt International

Once the rain had abated after a day lost to the weather, in the Girls 18 Singles, Marcia Tere-Apisah(PNG), 8th seed was beaten by 4th seed, Maddison Inglis 76(3), 62 in the quarter finals; Tarani Kamoe (FIJI), seeded 5th,  lost her 3rd round match to the 9th seed Pamela Boyanov 75,61 as did Yaelle Honakoko losing her 3rd round match 60,60; Annie Shannon (FIJ) and Assayi Trimari (CAL) both lost their 2nd round matches.
