On day 1 the Pacific Oceania Team played the #2 seeds, The Brisbane Chargers losing 5 matches to 1, with Nikolas N’Godrela/Cyril Jacobe winning their doubles 34,43, 10-4.
Pacific Oceania almost won the other doubles match before losing 42, 34, 10-7. In the Singles Nikolas N’Godrela had 2 match points before losing in a thrilling match 34,43,54
