The Oceania Closed Junior Championships(OCJC) started in Lautoka Fiji today in hot 29C temperatures. At the end of the day, Annie Shannon (FIJ) was the only Pacific Oceania player left in the Boys or Girls Singles Main Draw.
She comprehensively beat Soma Della Bona (AUS) 7-6(4) 2-6 6-4, to advance to the 2nd round and the chance to earn further valuable World Ranking ITF Junior Points.
