Abigail Tere-Apisah has won her 5th career Doubles Title over the weekend in Cairns, having won 3 previously this year and 1 last year in Brisbane.
Partnering again with Naiktha Bains(AUS) they beat the Australian pairing of Astra Sharma/Belinda Woolcock 46,62,10-6. This is the 3rd Doubles Title the duo have won this year and the 4th together.
Abigail also played the Singles Final but was beaten 16,62,62 by the 2nd seed, Olivia Rogowska (AUS), who has had a career high singles ranking of #102.
