Abigail Tere-Apisah (PNG) has reached a career high WTA Ranking of # 281 this week following reaching the semi-finals of the $100,000 ITF Event on grass at the Ilkley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club in Great Britain. She lost the semi-final to the eventual winner Tereza Smitkova (CZE).
