Three Pacific Oceania players have continued their march at Shepparton, Victoria into the quarter finals.
Nikolas N’Godrela (NC) was in blistering form with his booming 1st serve totally outclassing his Victorian opponent, Matthew Starling, 60,60. Cyril Jacobe (VAN) similarly had a relatively easy win against Victorian, James Curtis-McDonald 63,62 with both these Pacific players having a likely semi final against each other on Thursday.
At the top of the draw Daniel Llarenas (GUM) had a easy passage to the quarter finals following the withdrawal of his opponent Matthew Leffler.
All the players are playing this tournament as lead in match practice for the ATL (Australian Tennis League) which starts in Melbourne Park next Monday.
