Gary Purcell, the ITF Development Officer, advises that ” 24 players took part in the 12&U Team Competition and 28 players competed in the 14&U and 16&U Championships from 4 Nations: Cook Islands, Norfolk Island, Samoa and Tahiti.
The Tahiti and Samoa Boys teams finished in 1st and 2nd place respectively in the 12&U boys, while Samoa and Tahiti Girls teams finished in 1st and 2nd place respectively in the girls competition.
The 14&U and 16&U tournament winners and runners up were as follows:
14&U Boys Singles:
Winner – Maka Maui (Cook Is)
Runner Up – Ariitea Cotti-Helme (Tahiti)
14&U Girls Singles:
Winner – Vaiani Dusserre Valleauxi (Tahiti)
Runner Up – Teakaiti Toa (Cook Is)
16&U Boys Singles:
Winner – Vaitea Molinier (Tahiti)
Runner Up – Brandon Fong (Tahiti)
16&U Girls Singles:
Winner – Penina Kamu (Samoa)
Runner Up – Chrissy Vonge (Tahiti)
