The Winners of the Medals for each event was as below:
On the final day of competition there were the last 4 medals awarded. Nikolas N’Godrela (NC) continued what he had done 4 years ago in the Pacific Games in Noumea by defending his Gold medal and beating his compatriot Julien Delaplane (NC) 6-3, 6-3 in the final. Cyril Jacobe(VAN) beat Heve Kelley (TAH) 7-5, 6-1 to win the Bronze Medal. Full Men’s Singles results: Mens Singles
In the Women’s Singles Final, Papua New Guinea continued their domination of the Women’s Events with Abigail Tere-Apisah (PNG) comprehensively beating Yaelle Honakoko (NC) in the Final 6-1, 6-2 to take the Gold Medal. In the Bronze Medal play off Anaeve Pain (NC) defeated Violet Apisah (PNG) 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. Full Women’s singles results: Womens Singles
New Caledonia continued their domination of the Men’s Events by winning the Men’s Doubles Gold medal with Nikolas N’Godrela/Julien Delaplane (NC) defeating Cyril Jacobe/Aymeric Mara (VAN) in a closely fought match 7-5, 6-4. The Women’s doubles was an all Papua New Guinea affair with Abigail Tere-Apisah/ Marcia Tere-Apisah (PNG) defeating Patricia Apisah/Violet Apisah(PNG) 6-3,6-3.
