The Pacific Oceania Davis Cup Team travel this weekend to play El Salvador in the World Group II Play-Offs next weekend on Friday 2nd-Saturday 3rd February on the hardcourts in Santa Tecla, El Salvador. The Pacific Oceania Team will be:
- Clement Mainguy (VAN)
- Gillian Osmont (TAH)
- Heve Kelley (TAH)
- Matavao Fanguna (TON)-playing captain.
- This is a huge honour for Matavao Fanguna as this is the first time that a Tongan player has ever been a Davis Cup captain and only the 2nd Tongan player to play Davis Cup; the first being Motulihi Kailahi.
The El Salvador Team will be Cesar Cruz, Marcelo Arevalo, Diego Duran, Juan Carlos Fuentes Vasquez and Yari Bernado (captain)
