Abigail Tere-Apisah (PNG) has returned from the Pancho Alvarino Academy, Valencia, Spain where she gained her ITF Level 2 certification, the first Pacific Oceania woman to do so. This was assisted by the ITF Academy and funded through Olympic Solidarity. The ITF “Coaching Advanced Players” was taught by Miguel Crespo and Rafa Martinez-Gallego and was the final practical part of the course that she has been taking for most of this year.
The course consisted or 4 weeks online theory and a 1 week practical in Spain.
