Pacific Oceania Junior Girls to play Australian Clay Court Tournaments

Five of the top Pacific Oceania Junior Girls will be playing two ITF Claycourt Tournaments in Melbourne, Australia in the weeks of the 16th and 24th April. The first tournament, the Victorian Junior Claycourt International, will be held on the clay courts of the Denby Park Tennis Club, about 10kms south east of the Melbourne CBD.

The 2nd tournament, the Gallipoli Youth Tennis Cup, will be held on the Clay Courts of Melbourne Park, the home of the Australian Open.

Taking part from Pacific Oceania Nations are Marcia Tere-Apisah (PNG) and Tarani Kamoe (FIJ) pictured to the below left, and also Annie Shannon below right(FIJ).

Additionally two of the top Juniors from New Caledonia, Assayi Trimari and Yaelle Honakoko, pictured directly below,will also be taking part in both Tournaments.

Tarani Kamoe, ranked on the ITF World Junior ranking at 446 is 8th on the acceptance list and respectively Marcia Tere-Apisah(509) 12th; Assayi Trimari (558) 14th; Annie Shannon (626) 16th and Yaelle Honakoko (836) 19th.
