2022 ITF Pacific Nations Cup Starts in Lautoka, Fiji

After 3 consecutive years of postponements due to Covid-19 border closures, the 3rd Pacific Nations Cup finally got underway yesterday. The Event was officially opened by the Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport, the Honourable Faiyaz Koya with representatives from major sponsors, Punjas Group, also in attendance.

There are 8 Men’s and 8 Women’s Nation competing in 2 Pools of 4 Nations with the top 2 teams in each pool playing cross over semi-finals to then determine the play off for the medal matches. In the Men’s Event, the 2 seeded teams are Tahiti(1) and Samoa (2). In the Women’s Event, the 2 seeded teams are Samoa (1) and Fiji (2).
