The 4th ITF World Participation Conference was held virtually from Tuesday 19 – Thursday 21 July.
Over 50 speakers participated in the event, and provided a host of discussions, ideas and insights to enhance participation in tennis. This included a line-up of leading international experts from across various industries. Current and former players, including 20-time British Grand Slam champion Alfie Hewett, former professional tennis player and Olympic gold medallist from Puerta Rico Monica Puig and former Australia number 1 and dual Olympian Casey Dellacqua, joined leaders from major international organizations including the IOC, FIFA Foundation, Badminton World Federation, World Triathlon, Microsoft and leading Universities. Attendees were required to register on the ITF Academy. The conference was delivered in English, with French and Spanish interpretation during the three days and a flexible YouTube stream was available to watch when convenient throughout each day.
