ITF Sets Date For ITF AGM in Madrid

The ITF Board has decided that they intend planning for an in-person AGM this year, with a virtual attendance option for those who cannot travel (a hybrid meeting). The agreed dates are 3-4 December during the Davis Cup by Rakuten Finals in Madrid, Spain.

As the situation regarding the pandemic is still unpredictable, the ITF is also planning a contingency virtual plan only option on 14-15 October. If the decision is taken to go fully virtual, the ITF will confirm this no later than 1 September when it is expected that there will be a clearer view of how the pandemic is still affecting travel and events.

Resolution deadline
The different date scenarios affect the deadline for resolutions from Member Nations.  At this stage, the ITF are working to the earlier deadline of 15 June to reduce the possibility of resolutions being submitted late.  If the ITF are able to hold the meeting in-person, this deadline will be extended to 4 August to reflect the later AGM date.

New resolution submission forms

As of 2021, resolutions must be submitted via the resolution form, which can found online here: ITF AGM resources – Resolution Form
The ITF will send more information on the schedule, registration and accommodation in the coming weeks.
