During the recently held OTF AGM in Melbourne, the President of the ITF, David Haggerty, presented 3 Pacific National Associations with Excellence in the Development of Tennis Awards. These awards aim to:
- Recognize a National Association, or a select number of National Associations, within each Regional Association as an acknowledgement of their exceptional efforts in the area of tennis development
- Provide visibility to the ITF Development Strategy, encourage National Association engagement with the strategy and improve development collaborations between the ITF, Regional Associations and National Associations
The Pacific Oceania National Associations that received these awards were:
- Fiji- Tournaments
- Guam-Facilities
- French Polynesia-Players
