Last week at a ceremony at Bentonville, Arkansas The Great American Conference announced its All-GAC Team and the Individual Superlative Awards.
At these Awards Henderson State’s Annie Shannon (pictured on far left) earned the Freshman of the Year honour Freshman of the year
In addition to her Freshman of the Year selection, the Reddies’ Shannon earned First-Team All-GAC honours. She partnered with Second-Team All-GAC selection Amanda Korinihona (Solomon Islands) to go 10-4 at No. 1 doubles, including 5-1 against GAC opposition. Shannon played at No. 1 singles and went 7-7, including a win against Arkansas Tech’s Tamara Bell 2015-Ten-ALL-GAC
