Pacific Oceania Team Head to Melbourne to Play in the Australian Tennis League at Melbourne Park

The Pacific Oceania Team of Nikolas N’Godrela (NC); Cyril Jacobe (VAN); Aymeric Mara (VAN); Daniel Llarenas (GUM) and their captain Cyrille Mainguy (VAN) leave this weekend for Victoria to play a lead up event in Shepparton, 2.5 hours from Melbourne, before playing in the ATL (Australian Tennis League) at Melbourne Park during the 2nd week of the Australian Open commencing on Monday 20th January.

Eight Men’s Teams from Australia, New Zealand and the team from Pacific Oceania will be vying for a winner’s purse of $20,000. The event uses a unique match format of the best of 3 short sets with a short tiebreak at 3-3. There are no service lets with either partner in doubles, which has the no ad format, able to hit a net cord
